What is Affiliate Marketing?
Affiliate marketing is a performace-based marketing strategy in which businesses work with publishers, content creators, bloggers, marketers, and other "affiliates" who promote their products and services on their behalf.
Affiliates are rewarded with commissions from each sale they make. Marketing costs are limited to only when a sale is made, making affiliate marketing is an extremely cost-effective addition to your marketing strategy.
Our partner marketing program simplifies the affiliation process for both you and your affiliates.
Instead of having to interact and payout multiple affiliates, you'll manage affiliate approvals through your dashboard and then make a single commission payment to Hubopolis.
While you're busy running your business, we'll be busy connecting with more potential affiliates to promote your business.
1. Sign Up & Start Tracking
Once you sign up and complete your profile page your business will be listed in our Supplier Marketplace.
Setting up tracking is as simple as adding a small piece of code to your website. We'll provide this and show you how to do it.
2. Connect With Affiliates
Active affiliates will then be able to see your business and request affiliation with you.
When an affiliate is approved (automatically or manually), they are given a unique link to promote through their channels.
3. Affiliate Links
Affiliate links will send users directly to your website while tracking link clicks and purchases.
When a user visits your site using an affiliate link, the affiliate's ID is attached to any purchases made.
4. Tracking Sales
When a user makes a purchase on your website after using an affiliate's link, a tracking code is added to the booking.
These bookings are retrieved from your system monthly, commission is calculated and an invoice with sales details is issued.
5. Commission Payouts
At the beginning of each month Hubopolis will invoice you for commissions owing for any sales from the previous month.
Once we receive your payment we allocate an Affiliate's share to their account in the form of Hub Credits.
6. Your Costs
Signing Up: Free
Hubopolis Fee: 5% of Net Affiliate Sales
Affiliate/CashBack Commission: Completely up to you. Set a minimum base commission and then adjust individual affiliate commissions as you see fit.
Your Built-In Rewards Program
Your existing customers can earn HubCredits (aka CashBack) when they buy from you or any other Hubopolis partners.
Guess what? Your customers are now part of our affiliate program meaning they can also earn HubCredits as commission when they refer their friends and family to you in the future.
HubCredits can be exchanged for cash, used to purchase gift cards, or paid directly to participating Rewards Partners.
And, if your business accepts HubCredits as payment, customers who earn HubCredits with other Hubopolis Supplier Partners will be able to shop directly with you.
